Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Elim Spaces. By paying a deposit and securing your event date, you agree to the following:

1. Booking & Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking date.
  • The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days (2 weeks) before the event date.
  • If your event date is less than 2 weeks away, full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking and loss of your deposit.

2. Damage Deposit & Cleaning Fee

  • A £100 refundable damage deposit is required for all bookings.
  • A £50 cleaning fee will be charged for every event.
  • The damage deposit will be refunded within 3 working days after the event once the space has been inspected and confirmed to be in satisfactory condition.

3. Use of Space

  • Clients must only use the space that has been booked.
  • Movement between rooms is strictly prohibited unless previously agreed in writing.
  • If the Spring Room is booked, the event must remain within that space and must not extend into the Palm Room, and vice versa.

4. Responsibility for Damages

  • The client is fully responsible for any damage caused during the event by themselves or their guests.
  • If the cost of repairs or replacements exceeds the £100 damage deposit, the client agrees to pay the full additional amount required to restore the property to its original condition.

5. Clean-Up Requirements

  • All clients are required to clear and bag all waste at the end of the event.
  • The kitchen must be left in the exact condition it was found upon arrival. Failure to do so will result in the full £100 damage deposit being withheld.
  • All rubbish must be placed into bin bags before leaving the premises. Failure to do so will result in 60% deductions from the damage deposit.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made within 1 month (30 days) of the event date will result in the loss of the deposit.
  • Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances. However, they can be used to secure another available date.
  • Any payments made beyond the deposit may be refunded at the discretion of Elim Spaces, if at least 2 months (60 days) notice is given.

7. General Terms

  • Elim Spaces reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings if terms are not adhered to.
  • The client is responsible for ensuring that all guests comply with these terms during the event.
  • Any breach of these Terms & Conditions may result in additional charges or immediate termination of the event without refund.
